DOMA: THE ENDING

We have been dancing with joy over the end of DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). The Supreme Court has affirmed that all loving and committed couples who are married deserve equal legal respect and treatment from the federal government. There is still more to be done before same-sex couples living across the nation can enjoy all the same protections as their different-sex counterparts.
